Swansea and West Wales Race 2007
Once again we had a very successful race with twenty school teams and eighty five skiers taking part. Even the weather performed a minor miracle with the deluge stopping at exactly the right time to allow us to run a dry race.
Thanks to all those who helped out and to Eirian Morris and Ski Pembrey who were, once again, excellent hosts.
An apology goes out to Luke Tanner who actually finished second in the non registered male category. Unfortunately, he was originally placed in the wrong category. Being a late entry we didn't have time to check all the details. If Luke emails me (see our contact details page) I will forward his medal. Similarly, all those who didn't stay to collect their medals, please email me with your contact details.
Congratulations to Ashley Richards and Olivia McCarthy on being the best male and female Skiers. Congratulations to the Primary School Team from Saron and Secondary School Team from Olchfa who won the Team events.
